Daniel Alabi
Daniel brings a community-first lens to the organization’s programs, events, and visible activations, helping make each public moment feel connected to a deeper sense of purpose and continuity.

Michael Simonetta
Michael Simonetta has made a tremendous impact in many communities by supporting at-risk youth over more than a decade of charitable giving and fundraising efforts. His passion led him to found the Drive for Dreams Foundation, which helps student-athletes to achieve their educational and athletic goals through basketball scholarships and mentorship. A successful entrepreneur, investor, and business builder, Michael has co-founded three asset management firms and a software company, while also investing in several successful ventures. He currently serves as Chairman of Evolve ETFs one of Canada’s fastest growing and innovative ETF companies. Michael brings invaluable expertise and leadership to the Rec In Da 6ix Advisory Board, supporting our mission to transform lives through sports and mentorship.
Samir Bhatla
Samir is a sports industry leader at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), where he has generated over $100 million in revenue and now leads partnerships and fundraising strategy for MLSE Foundation. Beyond MLSE, Samir is a connector and community builder: a Canadian Chapter Lead for South Asians in Sports (SAIS), an instructor at Humber Polytechnic, an Education Committee member of the Sponsorship Marketing Council Canada (SMCC), and a member of the Advisory Board of the PS43 Foundation, reflecting his commitment to empowering communities through sport. Samir’s leadership and purpose-driven impact make him a valuable addition as we continue to grow our mission.

Dillon Brooks

Dillon Brooks has been a big presence at RecInDa6ix Pro-Am event, bringing both high-level competition and visibility to the platform.
